Planning & Control in Amsterdam

Our capital city Amsterdam has the largest municipal housekeeping book in the Netherlands. Due to various changes in its organization, the need arose to organize and improve the annual budget process. Everyone can imagine that this was a challenging task. Especially when you realize that 5.7 billion euros is spent annually and that 14,000 civil servants are involved with their daily work for Amsterdam.

Within six months, the municipality of Amsterdam was able to implement LIAS and thereby improve its budgeting process. The result: fewer errors, more confidence, being able to make the right choices for the city faster and a considerable saving of time.
