Detailresult Group, including the brands Dirk and DekaMarkt, has decided to outsource its activities in the field of Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics also for the next four years to the Woerden-based specialist Inergy Analytical Solutions. Both parties have agreed on an extension of the services.
Detailresult continues to use Inergy's Cloud Services for its management and operational information. Based on (transaction) data from an ever-growing number of source systems, including their real-time POS data, Inergy generates management information and analytics in the form of reports and dashboards, which supports Detailresult for example in optimizing their assortment and store locations.
Bart Oprel, CFO of Detailresult Group, explains the choice: "It is a logical continuation of the services that we have purchased from Inergy since 2010 and that develop further over time as you would expect from a specialist. Having an up-to-date and good insight means we can be much more short-cycle and closer to the ball, which is what this is all about. With the Analytics-as-a-Service suite from Inergy/Veneficus, for example, we developed a more detailed insight into our customers and their purchasing behavior in order to further optimize the assortment at Dirk and DekaMarkt and to better attune it to customer needs. We can also use data to analyze where we can best locate new stores and whether that should be a Dirk or a DekaMarkt.'
