The Hitratio Solution for logistics measures a statistical calculation of the probability that someone will be home to receive a package. It takes into account all the important variables, such as the time of day, sociographic data of the zip code region and the proximity of competing logistics providers.
If there is a high probability that only a few people within a ZIP code area or neighborhood are home during certain hours of the day, you can adjust the advisory route of your delivery drivers accordingly. In this way, you increase the efficiency of the delivery and the satisfaction of your customers.
2. Formulate delivery agreements more precisely
Offering a shipment to a recipient multiple times in vain is a waste of your time. And therefore your money. If you know that people in a certain region are not often at home during the day, you can tighten up delivery agreements for that region. Did the first delivery attempt fail? Then you can, for example, choose to send the shipment directly to a pickup point.
