The tool shows at a glance the missed potential of all locations, namely the difference between the calculated potential and current sales. In addition, detailed information is available for each branch about environmental factors such as competition and the average income of nearby residents. And information is available about the branch itself, such as the number of employees, the number of unique items and the distribution of sales across different shopping trips.

Each store is also given a score for efficiency (sales divided by potential sales) so that it is immediately visible which stores are doing well and which are not. For a supermarket, for example, it is interesting to know what type of visitors the store attracts and how that compares with the average for all stores. For example, are relatively few people doing their major weekly shopping at a branch? If so, that could have to do with accessibility and parking.
