Municipalities provide welfare payments to citizens for living expenses. To finance these income provisions, there is a state payment of ± € 6 billion to all Dutch municipalities. This is done according to a very complicated distribution system.

Organizations and administrators can be informed more quickly about the financial effects of new BUIG decisions because we process them within a few days after they are published by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. After a BUIG decision is released, you can have all the calculations and analyses on your desk within an hour.

With BUIG you are no longer dependent for the interpretation of a BUIG decision on one employee with specific knowledge about this comprehensive subject. A colleague with less knowledge can also make a good recommendation to management and the municipal executive.
